ze: small;”>The youth group and Evangelism Team are coming together to put together the first ever FPC Garland Garage Giveaway. We will be working with local non profit organizations that will refer families to us and on August 14, 2010, those families will have the opportunity to come to the Education Center and get what they need without having to pay for it. We will be giving each family a bag of food, box of school supplies, and a box of emergency supplies. We are asking the congregation to look in their homes for items that they would normally sell in a garage sale and to save them until the week of August 9, 2010 so that the youth can come and pick the items up. Donations can include anything and everything. Examples are clothing, furniture, toys, or kitchen ware. No donation is too small and the more we have, the more we can help. A food drive, school supply drive, and emergency item drive will begin this Sunday, June 27th and continue until August 3rd. Lists will be made and hung near the boxes so that you will know what items we need. Also, if you would like to volunteer to help out, please contact Jennie Nichols or Jeannie Henderson. We need plenty of volunteers so if you want to and are able to, please consider helping us out!
